The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) Eminent Ecologist Seminar Series brings leading ecologists and evolutionary biologists to campus each summer for week-long visits with faculty, students, and staff.

Speakers for 2026 include Dr. Justin Brashares (University of California, Berkeley), June 1–5, and Dr. Raina Plowright (Cornell University), June 29–July 3. Their seminars will explore ecological change, trophic cascades, pandemic prevention, and zoonotic disease.
